Successful Project Execution driven by Process
The most important questions on a potential client’s mind are: “What is going to happen? When is it going to happen? Will I be kept in the loop? What is free and what is paid?”
We get that. And we want to be completely transparent about our ecommerce website development process. Let’s start at the beginning:
You are curious about the price of one of our services, and you contact us either by clicking our Request a Quote button or going to our Contact page. Both places bring up a form to fill in. Please give us as much information as possible about your project so that we can be reasonably accurate with our proposal. Important: Do you need sales copy or will you be supplying it? If we have questions – and most of the time we do, we will contact you by email or by phone.
We prepare a proposal with a price and a timeline to completion. Up to now there is no cost or obligation to you.
The numbers in our proposal are based on the information provided by you, and may be subject to change depending on details that may emerge during the in-depth consultation phase. Most of the time, no major adjustments are needed. Once you issue a purchase order, we move to the in-depth consultation phase.
Depending on what your needs are, we put our years of expertise into play to propose the best and most economical solutions that will give you the desired results.
If you need a new ecommerce site, or you want an ecommerce store makeover, we must know what’s on your mind regarding look, feel, color scheme, tone of sales copy (if part of our proposal) and site functionality.
We move to the design phase and submit it to you for approval. We incorporate any desired changes and submit them to you for final approval.
This is all the behind-the-scenes coding stuff that gives your ecommerce site all of its desired functionalities. Before we go any further, we must determine if the site functions as intended.
We rigorously test all the links and functions to make sure your customers have a flawless shopping experience. The completed site is submitted to you for final approval.
Making your ecommerce site live on the Internet is our final step in the process. You’re in business!
